Rat Terrier Association
The local rat terrier association will promote the goal of producing a genetically healthy puppy dog.
There is no strict breed standard due to many varieties and forms of these dogs, but all breeders should improve the breed and its working abilities. There are 3 sized for these dogs, 2 body types, and besides, they can be coated or hairless.
